Lagotti are very loving and loyal which makes them awesome family pets, they have lots of energy and are great companions. They vary in their need for exercise, but should always be given stimulation to keep their minds occupied. The instinct to hunt, swim and retrieve is inborn and does not have to be encouraged.
The appearance of the Lagotto varies. Size should be 25 – 35 pounds once fully grown. The breed generally has floppy ears and large round eyes in shades ranging from golden to a dark brown. Their water friendly coat is very thick and curly. Sometimes Lagotti have “flat coats,” meaning they do not have curly hair. This trait may result in some shedding. Their coat colors range from solid colors including: off-white, golden, brown or black. They can also be found with a white coat with brown spotting, orange patches or roan. It is a medium to large sized hypoallergenic breed, which means it rarely sheds. A Lagotto may also display white markings that grow out in adult status. – Wikopedia
